Engine gas in a nutshell
Propane ≥ 95% – reliable starting even at -40 °C
The bottle has a KV, or threaded valve, connected to the liquid intake valve on the machine (forklift connector): G.12 internal thread + quick-locking bayonet – Finnish standard for forklift regulators
Exchange empty, get a full one – exchange and refill service in 1–2 business days
Safe steel bottle – CE approved, pressure tested every 10 years
Suitable for: warehouse and yard trucks, gas forklifts, construction machinery, LPG generators
Benefits for the user
- Consistent power
The liquid intake prevents the gas from “freezing” during long shifts – the truck maintains its torque even in freezing conditions.
- Easy to maintain
Quick-lock bayonet connector speeds up bottle changes; no loose nuts or keys.
- Cost-effective
A propane-powered forklift produces low particle emissions – lower indoor ventilation costs compared to a diesel forklift.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use the same bottle to power a forklift and a heater?
No. The liquid intake bottle is for the engine. Gas burners and heaters use a steam intake bottle.
Is there a backlash in the valve?
Yes, the bottle has an RPV check valve to prevent liquid leakage.
Do I need some kind of contract or do I have to leave a deposit?
You can either buy your own bottle (cover fee) or we will replace your empty bottle with a new one, in which case add the 11kg motor gas steel bottle refill to your shopping cart.
