Using LPG in a restaurant – in a nutshell

Cooking

  • Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) provides an instant, precisely adjustable flame for stoves, grills and various professional restaurant equipment.
  • The rapid heat increase shortens serving times and keeps the frying temperature constant.

Space heating and terraces

  • Gas-powered radiant heaters and heating appliances keep dining areas comfortable even during the colder months.
  • Mobile devices operate on their own without a fixed installation.

Backup power and energy

  • LPG generators ensure the operation of cooling and heating equipment during a power outage.
  • Clean combustion of gas reduces maintenance costs and particulate emissions.

Safety

  • Always use CE-approved steel bottles and check hoses and valves regularly.
  • Store cylinders in an upright position, in a well-ventilated area, and keep the cylinder location and balances up to date in your rescue plan.
  • LPG is the most popular option for restaurant kitchens when city gas or the natural gas network is not available: it combines efficiency, versatility, and secure supply chains.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions (Musou Black) {#faq}

How black is the product?

Up to 99.4% visible light absorption. Practically a “black hole” – the surface appears two-dimensional.

Brush or sprayer?

Both work. For maximum blackness: spray several thin layers. You can also get a very matte black result with a brush.

How many floors?

Often 1 coat is enough, but 2 thin coats will give the most even super black. In bright light, a 3rd thin coat for maximum effect.

Yield & sizes?

As a guide, 100 ml ≈ 0.8–1 m² (2 thin coats, depending on the surface). 1 L ≈ 8–10 m² . Available in 100 ml, 1 L and larger quantities on request.

Example: 10 m² effect wall with two thin layers → ≈ 1 L .

Can it be used outdoors?

Mainly for indoor use. Outdoors, UV and weather stress the surface – requires careful underlayment and protection, and the effect may fade over time

Is it safe indoors?

Yes. The paint is water-based , very low-emission and odorless . Use normal protective clothing and ensure ventilation. However, do not leave it out of reach of children or pets.

What about Musou Black vs. Black 4.0?

Black 4.0 is an excellent artist's paint, but Musou Black is known for its optical depth – especially when applied in thin layers by spray. Plus, you can get Musou quickly from Finland and with local support .

Do I need varnish?

Generally not – clear varnish increases the shine and reduces the properties of black. If protection is necessary, test on a small area.

How do I clean/remove?

Clean wet paint by lightly wiping or using compressed air. To remove dried paint, use mechanical sanding or paint remover – ask us for material-specific instructions.

Be mindful of the environment:

Wash tools with water immediately after use. Dispose of excess paint and empty containers in hazardous waste collection points – not down the drain.
