Winding and mechanism
The Bobo bird Ebony men's wristwatch is equipped with a high-quality Japanese automatic mechanism. This means that the watch automatically withdraws itself from the movement that comes out of use. However, the clock can also be wound manually if necessary. There are no batteries in the wristwatch, so there is no need to worry about changing them with an automatic watch.
Shortening of the bracelet
In the package of the Bobo Bird Ebony wristwatch, we provide a tool and pictorial instructions for shortening the wristwatch strap. You don't need any extra tools or strength to adjust the bracelet to the right size. With the included tool, removing the small clips on the wristband is effortless. The package includes four-point instructions with photos.
Maintenance and storage
In order for the mechanism and surface of this high-quality mechanical automatic watch to last as long as possible, we recommend storing the watch in the elegant wooden box included in the package, whenever it is taken off the wrist. The storage box protects the multi-part mechanical mechanism of the watch from dust and moisture. In the box, the watch also does not receive any unexpected shocks to its surface, which could scratch or damage the watch glass or bracelet.
Cleaning and maintenance
If necessary, the Bobo Bird Ebony wristwatch can be cleaned with a lint-free damp cloth and a mild detergent. If the wooden parts of the watch strap become hardened or darken over time, you can lightly sand the wooden parts with fine sandpaper (grit 1000-3000). After sanding and better washing, we recommend oiling the wooden surfaces with a few drops of paraffin oil or another oil suitable for the wood material.
The mechanism of the Bobo Bird Ebony automatic watch is almost maintenance-free in regular use. The clock can be wound manually if necessary, but it is not necessary. We recommend maintenance of the watch's manual mechanism at an expert watch shop every 5-10 years.
