The Bobo Bird Dark watch has a Japanese mechanical automatic movement that keeps you up to date. Thanks to the watch, you can free yourself from constantly opening the phone screen to check the time. You can trust this high-quality automatic timepiece because its almost silent ticking will not stop suddenly. A mechanical automatic watch is self-winding in motion, but it can also be manually wound if necessary. No need for batteries to operate!
Dial functions - chronograph watch
The dark wooden watch is a so-called chronograph watch. The word chronograph comes from the Greek language and means "to record time". Clocks of this type have their own functions for keeping time, which can be controlled from the buttons on the side of the clock face. Dark wooden clocks can be used to measure time from seconds to hours. The clock face also has its own table for the date, which must be set at the beginning of a new month. In the package, we deliver an English-language pictorial instruction on the dial's functions.
Fit and wrist shortening
The outer diameter of the dial of the Dark watch, excluding the buttons, is 43mm. Due to its size, it is a perfect choice even for a man's wide wrist. The strap closure with a hidden lock brings seamlessness to the style.
The watch can be shortened easily with the tool and pictorial instructions included in the package. This men's wristwatch has an adjustment range of 13 to 26 centimetres. Each removed piece of the bracelet shortens the bracelet by about 8 mm. We recommend measuring your wrist before shortening to get the right length.
Storage
We recommend storing the wooden clock in its own storage case, which comes with every clock order. This way you protect the glass of the watch from unexpected shocks and scratches, as well as the mechanical mechanism of the watch from dust and moisture. The watch's own natural-colored wooden storage compartment is stylish to place on a shelf next to other accessories. Because of its small size, it also fits well in a drawer.
Cleaning and maintenance
If necessary, the dark wooden clock can be cleaned with a cloth moistened with a mild cleaning agent. If the watch becomes darkened or tarnished over time, you can lightly sand the surface with fine sandpaper (grit 1000-3000). After washing and sanding, the surface can be oiled with a few drops of paraffin oil or another oil suitable for wood material.
